Olaf Breuning was born in Schaffhausen, Switzerland and currently lives and works in New York. He has had solo exhibitions at Metro Pictures, New York and Centre d’Art Contemporain, Paris amongst many others. Breuning had a solo show, Under the Bridge, at the Musée d’art moderne et contemporain, Strasbourg, France. He has also been featured in group shows including Les Sort probable de l’homme qui avait avale le fantome (The likely fate of the man that swallowed the Ghost) , Centre Pompidou, Paris and All about Laughter, Mori Museum, Tokyo. He was also included in The Whitney Biennial 2008.
Breuning’s work is held in numerous collections including FRAC, Bourgogne and the Saatchi Collection, London.
