John Baldessari, I Saw It (Edition of 100)

John Baldessari was born in 1931 and currently lives in Santa Monica and works in Venice, CA. He attended San Diego State University and completed post-graduate work at Otis Art Institute, Chouinard Art Institute, and the University of California at Berkeley.

Baldessari’s art has been featured in more than 200 solo and 900 group exhibitions in the United States and Europe. His honors include the Americans for the Arts lifetime achievement award and membership in the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Upcoming exhibitions include Museum Haus Lange, Krefeld, Germany; Cristina Guerra Contemporary Art, Lisbon; Galerie Greta Meert, Brussels; Mai 36, Zurich; and a traveling retrospective beginning at the Tate Modern, London this year.
