Charles Long, Untitled

Born in 1958, Charles Long is an internationally exhibited artist with over 40 solo shows. He received a BFA from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia; attended the Whitney Independent Study Program; and received an MFA from Yale University. He is the recipient of many awards including a Guggenheim Fellowship, two Pollock-Krasner grants, and most recently, an American Academy of Arts and Letters award. His work has been in two Whitney Biennials (2008 and 1997) and is in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, among others. Long lives and works in Los Angeles.
