Olivier Mosset was born in Bern, Switzerland in 1944. His progressive approach to painting has kept him at the forefront of contemporary art for several decades. His work has appeared in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in the United States and abroad, most recently in the 2008 Whitney Biennial; the Musée d’Art Moderne et Contemporain, Geneva; the Galerie Sollertis, Toulouse, France; and solo shows at Galerie Andrea Caratsch in Zurich; Centre d’Art Villa Tamaris in La Seyne-sur-Mer, France, and Spencer Brownstone Gallery in New York. The artist currently lives and works in Tucson, Arizona.
