Mark Fox was born in Cincinnati and currently lives and works in New York. His lyrical sculptures are created from thousands of intricate drawings that are cut out and randomly rejoined. Fox utilizes a personal iconography that references utopian, apocalyptic and mythological themes. His work has been shown in solo and group shows both domestically and internationally. He has had two solo exhibitions in New York at Larissa Goldston Gallery in 2005 and 2007. His work is part of the permanent collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art.
