Born in 1940 in Washington D.C., Ed Baynard currently lives and works in New York City. Over the past thirty years, he has been the focus of fifty solo exhibitions throughout the world and is highly regarded for his watercolors and printing techniques. His work is in the permanent collections of major museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Museum of Modern Art, New York, among others. Baynard continues to create new works and exhibits them at his gallery affiliates in New York City, Toronto, and London, England. His first canvas show in fifteen years opens this spring at Dillon Gallery in New York.
